The Role of Operation Education

Our role consists of supporting young adolescents, whether they may be orphans or coming from poor families, ensuring they receive the basic support necessary to live and obtain education so as to give ethnic minorities a chance to have a place in society. We also see to it that they receive regular Bible teachings.

Accommodation

The youth are cared for by Christian churches or centers that are equipped with dorms and have the necessary infrastructure for housing groups.

Education

Aside from giving the youth a chance to attend a public school, which will secure their future, these centers also offer them regular Bible teachings that will train them in the Word of God and generate future leaders for the Church. The youth will participate in the church community life and develop a servant’s heart. There is always the possibility of returning to their hometown during weekends and between school terms.

Pastor and Leader Training

In 2022, a new component was added to Operation Education, that of supporting students so that they may attend Bible school in order that they may become pastors and/or leaders. After four years of training, they will be able to return to be integrated in a church that needs a pastor or leaders, or they can become itinerant pastors.

A New Church Among Minority Peoples

New churches are springing up that are lively, though very limited in resources. Nonetheless, they put their trust in our great God : He has chosen what is poor and weak to manifest His glory!

Financing

Operation Education provides an annual grant for each student, which covers housing, food, clothing as well as all costs related to education.

High School Education: CAD $750 ^{_{per year}}	Pastor and Leader Training: CAD $2,250 _{^{per year}}
The children are supervised by a pastor and receive: food, housing, clothes, transportation, school supplies, school uniform, school permit	CAD $2,000 for food, housing, Bible studies and school supplies; CAD $250 for personal expenses
